''Hypoprepia inculta'' is a moth of the Arctiidae family. It was described by H. Edwards in 1882. It is found in the Rocky Mountain states from the Mexico border north to southern Wyoming and the Black Hills of South Dakota. The habitat consists of bunchgrass steppe. The length of the forewings is 13–16 mm. The forewings are dull dark grey with a lighter cubital vein and discal spot. The hindwings are pale whitish grey with a slight pink tint, darker anteriorly and at the margin. Adults are on wing from mid-July to late August.〔(Pacific Northwest Moths )〕 ==References==
